The last of the air-cooled Porsche 911s, the 993 is the final evolution of the long-air-cooled lineage from Porsche. The 993 boasts all of the innovations and refinement that Porsche learned from building the 911 for 30+ years, creating a simple package of excellent driving dynamics, everyday comfort, and accessible performance. The C4S, first built for the 1996 model year, uses the same wide body as the coveted 993 Turbo and also used the same all-wheel-drive system that the Turbo was equipped with. With exceptional mechanical grip, the 993 C4S, with its natural aspirated engine, provides a fantastic driving experience in all conditions.

This Grand Prix White over cashmere leather Carrera 4S was purchased new by Mr. Hanshaw in Glendora, CA on September 14th, 1996. Mr. Hanshaw has a great relationship with Porsche, as he previously owned a late 80s 911. Mr. Hanshaw ordered some special items such as white wheels, a special air intake, and Rosewood shift knob. He had the Carrera maintained yearly at McKenna Porsche in Norwalk, CA, and drove the car less than 500 miles per year. Mr Hanshaw decided to pass down his Carrera 4S to his son as he was not driving it as often. Its last service was performed at Porsche Ontario, where it received various services, along with 4 new Bridgestone Potenza tires.

Each and every collector car that comes to Canepa is put through an extensive and diligent process called the “Canepa Difference.” This includes a major and comprehensive mechanical inspection where all systems are checked and serviced as necessary. They also receive an award-winning concourse-level detailing, a thorough cleaning of each and every surface that ensures that every car is a sight to behold.
