The 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena Spider is an exquisite blend of Italian engineering and timeless design. As a convertible variant of the famous 360 Modena Coupe, it offers an exciting driving experience combined with the pleasure of open-top motoring. With its rear, mid-engine layout and rear-wheel drive, the 360 Modena Spider delivers exceptional handling and balance. Powered by a 3.6-liter V8 engine, the 360 Modena Spider produces a thrilling 400 horsepower.
One of the key innovations of the 360 Modena Spider was its use of an aluminum space-frame chassis, which not only reduced weight, but also significantly increased structural rigidity compared to its predecessor, the F355, that previously used a steel monocoque with a tubular steel rear sub-frame. The new aluminum space-frame in the 360, allowed for sharper handling and improved overall performance, therefor vastly improving the driving experience for automotive enthusiasts around the world.
The Argento Nurburgring Silver metallic paint is in stunning condition, just like it had left the Ferrari factory in Maranello. The engine bay and undersides are equally impressive, with no signs of dirt or blemishes of any kind. Finished in the famous Ferrari tan leather that covers the interior, is blemish-free and looks as-new. With only 4,918 miles, the 360 Modena Spider presents an amazing value and performance proposal.
According to records, this 360 Modena Spider spent a majority of its life in California, originally being delivered to the San Diego area in 2005. The first owner only had the car in his possession for a little over a year. It eventually traded hands to the second owner in April of 2006. who was also a resident of Southern California. For the next 7 years, the car would spend its life going on coastal, open-top adventures, as well as being serviced and maintained by Ferrari of Newport Beach, before going back up for sale in July of 2017.
After soaking up the California sun for 12 years, this Ferrari 360 spider was purchased by a buyer out in Brentwood, Tennessee. From then on, the owner made sure every aspect of the car was taken care of, while also enjoying the thrill of an open top, gated manual Ferrari.
Records show that this 360 recently received a major service done by Ferrari of Atlanta in January of 2023. In doing so, they replaced the timing belt, camshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, A/C lines, spark plugs, water pump, and received new tires. All in all, totaling in at $18,600. With its recent service, this Ferrari 360 is ready to take its next owner on plentiful open-top adventures.
Upon arriving at Canepa, the 360 Modena Spider was treated to the Canepa Difference process, ensuring that all mechanical items were inspected and serviced as needed, and the cosmetics detailed to a show-level presentation.
