This two owner, California car, was originally sold at El Monte Ford. Factory options included; Shaker Hood, rear wing, close ratio 4-speed, Trac-lock differential, power steering, power brakes, and tilt wheel. This original, no rust example underwent an award winning 100% ground up restoration in 2004.

Canepa Design has recently further upgraded this concourse example to include;
Blueprinted original 302 V8, 385 hp including lower compression forged piston, Comp Cam, blueprinted intake manifold and Holley carburetor, electronic ignition, balancing, quartermaster clutch assembly, high performance exhaust system, etc.

Chassis upgrades include:
Lowered suspension components, front upper and lower control arms, coil springs, lowered rear leaf springs, sway bars, Koni adjustable shock assemblies, Baer four wheel disk brake system, contemporary close- ratio power steering gear unit, custom fabricated front suspension tower support cross member tube, etc.

Wheel and tire upgrades include:
17x8.5” (front) and 17x10” (rear) American five spoke custom built alloy wheels with 255/45ZR17 (front) and 285/40ZR17 (rear) high performance speed rated radial tires.

Miscellaneous upgrades include:
Custom leather steering wheel, original 70’s Sun tachometer, heavy duty cooling system, Hella H4 HID headlamps, custom floor carpets, factory original rubber mats, etc.
